Art (Inter)Action initiatives focus on fostering collaborations with peer institutions and directly engage with the local community through educational and outreach projects with neighborhood schools, community organizations, and the public. Art (Inter)Actions provide a distinct entry point to engage with the exhibitions at Cuchifritos Gallery + Project Space, as well as connect the community to the contemporary art world. Developed in 2003 to encourage collaboration between artists and the Lower East Side community through artistic initiatives, this program continues to evolve to meet the changing needs of the neighborhood and as our network of partners expands.
