Help us celebrate the reopening of Artists Alliance Inc’s LES Studio Program—a three and six-month residency program on Manhattan’s Lower East Side open to under-represented, emerging and mid-career artists—on Monday, April 14 from 6-9 pm at Culturefix. Join us for drinks, delicious food, beats by DJ Marmar and a silent auction featuring work by former residents of the program, including:
Jan Baracz, Louise Barry, Martin Basher, Jesse Bercowetz, Gail Biederman, Liene Bosquê, Noa Charuvi, Cat Chow, Blane De St. Croix, Molly Dilworth, Carrie Elston Tunick, Mike Estabrook, Linda Griggs, Kent Henricksen, Naoko Ito, Kyoung eun Kang, Miwa Koizumi, Fay Ku, Jen Mazza, OLEK, and Judy Simonian.

Auction artwork available for online bidding on Paddle8 through Monday, April 21.

Additionally, all available work will be on view at the event or by appointment. Most importantly, 100% of the money raised will go directly towards providing flexible workspaces, stipends for incoming residents, honoraria for visiting curators, and support for resident exhibitions, talks and open studios, and much more!

Can’t make it on April 14, but would like to contribute? Donate Now

Special thanks to Enrique Figueredo for his design work, former residency artists and AAI board members for their help organizing this event, Paddle8 for hosting our auction, the individuals and organizations responsible for supporting our program including but not limited to New York Foundation for the Arts, Residency Unlimited, The Clemente Soto Vélez Cultural and Educational Center, the Department of Cultural Affairs, and of course the amazing people of CultureFix!
